Good Morning HF! Today is a “B” day.

 

There will be a Yearbook Club Workshop Meeting today after school! Come to the TV Studio Computer lab right after school to help create the class of 2018 Yearbook.

There will be a French Club meeting today after school.

 

Last Chance for Senior Photo Make-ups and Retakes is tomorrow, periods 1 through 9.  Be aware that the location has been changed to the South Gym.  Scheduled appointments are posted in the Senior Lounge.  If you need to be photographed and you don’t have an appointment, stop in during your lunch or free period.  If you have any questions, see Mrs. Michalek in Mr. Thornton’s office.

 

Are you interested in becoming a teacher? Do you enjoy working with elementary students? If so, you should join the Future Educators Club. The first meeting is Thursday, October 5th at 2:25 in room T-20. Anyone interested in getting a placement must attend this meeting. Any questions, please see Mrs. Fleishman or Mrs. Turzer.

 

Thursday's DECA Meeting has been rescheduled for next Thursday, October 5th.  Anyone interested in running for office, please hand in your application by October 4th.

 

TriFit 's next meeting is Tuesday October 3rd at 2:25 in the Senior Lounge.  Come
find out what TriFit is about. Sign ups for the Carl Hart Race will be discussed.  TriFit will also have the October Breast Cancer Walk sign up information.

Interact meets after school Wednesday, October 11th in the Senior Lounge.

Can you sing, dance, or play an instrument? Are you in a band or other performance group?  Come audition for the 2018 Harborfields Council PTA Variety Show!  Applications are available online or in the main office.  Applications are due October 13, 2017. Come show your talent!

 

Attention HF students, clubs and sports groups. Safe Halloween is coming!  Start bringing in candy to your social studies classes to help support the  Annual Safe Halloween Community Event which is to be held on Monday, October 30th.The Social Studies class collecting the most candy wins a bagel breakfast.  Clubs and Sports Groups collect candy under the direction of their Club Advisors and Coaches.

 

Attention all Seniors and Juniors.  Don't forget to check Naviance for the most up to date list of colleges visiting Harborfields.  There are lots of great schools coming everyday. Come meet the representatives that may be reading your application!  Don't miss out on this opportunity.
