HF Leadership is taking the Class of 2017 back in time: literally. Seniors can pull up to the football fields on May 16, 2017 to enjoy a movie within the comfort of your own car. Back in the 1940s, this sort of outdoor entertainment was a popular way for families to kick back and cherish each other’s company. So why not give the Seniors that same kind of homey and carefree atmosphere?

Admission to this event is part of the Senior Series that the Leadership Class is organizing. We are really excited to leave a mark on the school and kick off the end of the year in a positive and fun way. Each person will pay $5, but we definitely encourage students to carpool and save the environment plus chill with a group of friends!

After submitting a list of movies to Student Management, the movie Dodgeball has been officially approved for our Drive-In Movie. This classic comedy starring Ben Stiller and Vince Vaughn will satisfy our entire senior class, and will be appropriate enough!

The Leadership Class has been working hard to get this event underway. Students have kept in touch with the custodial staff and have contacted companies to get a projector and a screen. Senior Kailey Broderick, member of the class and an organizer of the Drive-In tells us that “Seniors owe it to everyone to come down on a Tuesday night in May. It’s a really low cost and it’s a cool and different thing for students to come to.”

Be there, Tuesday, May 16, at 7:00 when the sun is setting. Bring blankets and snacks and of course your favorite people.
