Wolverine Game: Is It THAT Bad?
Recently Insomniac’s newest game Wolverine has made waves all over the internet. But it’s not for anything good, reviewers are calling it too easy and saying that the game makes it nearly impossible to lose. In this article I’m going to prove or disprove this so all of you don’t need to spend your time or effort finding out yourself or even worse wasting 70 dollars on a mediocre game.
One of the main critiques with the game is the difficulty, all over tiktok, youtube and other social media platforms gameplay has been shown by upset players. The gameplay has a blue “scent” trail that is impossible to turn off being called the “Fart trail” by most players, on top of that every single objective has a unmissable marker that shows where it is. Another issue is the game’s quick time events where in most games if you failed you would lose. But the Wolverine game completely ditches this rule and automatically does it if you don’t do it in time which is completely stupid. The next big issue is the Nightmare Trials which are found by following a giant purple trail and it leads into a parkour section based on Wolverine’s past however because the game doesn’t have a real parkour set up or gameplay most of the gameplay is a straight line occasionally interrupted by pressing the jump button. The most infamous issue is the motorcycle chase level where players have shown that you can win by pressing literally nothing. The only thing players seem to enjoy about the gameplay is the combat which should be expected and the story being deemed really good.

With that being said I’m sure you and I have both reached the same conclusion, this game is not worth the $70 pricetag. I do not recommend buying this game or playing it even if it’s on sale.
