A Day with McCoy Mrubata
On Friday, April 24, 2026, renowned jazz saxophonist, McCoy Mrubata, visited Harborfields HS with jazz guitarist, James Zito.
These musicians, along with Lincoln Center’s Seton Hawkins who organized this educational visit in collaboration with HS Jazz Band Director, Dan Bilawsky, spent the day running workshops and rehearsing with the high school jazz band.

Have you been looking for new content to watch? Do you like musicians? Well, you’ll love the new revival of a Perzian classic, “MUSICIAN OF THE WEEK.” In this new version, host Sam Fisher dives deep into the lives and ongoing careers of Harborfields’ best musicians.
“MUSICIAN OF THE WEEK,” is a beautiful Harborfields tradition created by Michael Perz, and in his infinite genius he mixed elements of impeccable comedy and expert interviewing techniques that culminated in creating one of the most incredible content moments in Harborfields history that can only be described as an anomaly of divine proportion.
Fisher aims to capture this same effect in his revival of the project while adding his own artistic talents to create a whole new slew of incredible content.
