The Holidays at Harborfields

This December in the Harborfields School District there are many fun events that community members may attend! These events can help get you excited for the Holidays.  There are many events such as the holiday boutique, winter concerts, and holiday break. There are also many different holidays being celebrated throughout the Harborfields Central School District!

During the week of December 2-6, OMS and WDPS will be hosting their holiday boutique. The week of December 9-13, TJL will be holding its holiday boutique. The Holiday Boutique is a great opportunity for younger students to support their school and purchase gifts for the holidays.

In addition, OMS, TJL, and HHS will each have students performing concerts this month. The included photo is from the 2022 HHS Tri-M Christmas Caroling. OMS has its Orchestra and Chorus Winter Concert at 7 pm on December 3, and the Jazz Band and band concerts on December 12.

TJL had its Grade 5 Winter Concert on December 9th, which was streamed to our LIVE page by members of the Broadcast Journalism class. Harborfields High School has the Winter Jazz Band, Vocal Ensemble, Chamber Orchestra, and the 9 and 10 grade band on December 16th. The high school full orchestra, Choir, and 11-12 band at 7:30 pm on December 17th. These concerts are a great way to see the music our school has to offer this winter. It’s also a wonderful way to support our school district’s talented music program.

In December, a multitude of Holidays will be celebrated in the Harborfields community. Christmas is on the 25th of December, which is also the first night of Hanukkah. Kwanza falls on December 26th. The Harborfields Community has many ways you can celebrate one of the many holidays this december. Make sure to check out some of the amazing events that are being offered!
