Harborfields Hosts the 2026 Hunting-Tony Awards

This annual event celebrating theater companies and productions of the high schools in the Town of Huntington on Long Island seems to have found a home in Harborfields High School! For the second straight year, the event was hosted and produced by the Harborfields Tornado News Team in coordination with the team of Town Councilman, Dr. David Bennardo.

Two production teams from Harborfields’ new CTE-Media Pathway, The Harborfields Multimedia Production Academy, ran concurrent livestreams to entertain the in-house audience while giving a great viewer experience to those at home!

The evening started as most awards shows do, on the red carpet! There, award nominees were photographed by senior photographer, Patrick O’Brien, as they paraded down the carpet toward Tornado News Studios for their per-show interviews. This red carpet show was livestreamed intro the theater so audience members could watch as they entered the room to find their seats.

The red carpet show, the full awards show, and all of the photos of the event are now accessible at our Hunting-Tony’s page. Visit our page and tune in their to watch the live shows next year!
