Her new hit single reached #1 on the charts, as well as her new music video breaking the youtube record for most views in 24 hours.

Aside from the song having a powerful message against rumors, internet trolls and bullies, and well...relationships. Ariana used the platform of her music video to make a “spinoff” of some of her favorite movies. Through the help of some celebrity friends, such as Troye Sivan, Colleen Ballinger, Matt Bennett, and Elizabeth Gillies, Ariana’s video took to all kinds of audiences. Even Mean Girls’s original Aaron Samuels (Jonathan Bennett) and Legally Blonde’s iconic Paulette (Jennifer Coolidge) made special guest appearances. HF junior, Sarah De Vito, loved seeing Ariana bring some of her most memorable childhood movies to life, including Mean Girls, Legally Blonde, Bring it On, and 13 Going on 30. Even Jennifer Garner and Reese Witherspoon took to social media to praise Ariana’s video, with Garner even giving regards to the video with, “Every now and then something comes along and just brightens your day.”
