St. John's Lands Biggest Recruit of the Decade
On Tuesday, September 12, St. John’s landed their biggest recruit of the decade, 4 star shooting guard Jaiden Glover. Glover is ranked number 56 according to 247 sports, number 63 according to Rivals.com, and number 65 on the ESPN top 100.
Jaiden Glover chose St.John’s over Seton Hall, Saint Joseph’s, and Chreighton. Jaiden Glover, who averaged 14.5 point per game in his junior season for The Patrick School, is joining Lefteris Liotopoulos as the only other recruit in the class.
Glover is a very strong athlete who is very good inside and outside the 3 point line. “I would describe my game as a swiss army knife,” Glover said to On3.
St. John’s begins their season on November 7 against Stony Brook at Carnesecca Arena. They will play North Texas in the first round of the Shriners Children’s Charleston Classic on November 16. They will start conference play against Xavier at Carnesecca Arena on December 20. They wrap up their season at Madison Square Garden against Georgetown on March 9.
They play 5 games at Carnesecca Arena, 8 games at Madison Square Garden, 3 games at UBS Arena, and 1 game at Barclays Center.
There is new life for St. John’s, with new coach Rick Pitino hoping to help them reach their highest peak since the 80s.
