Honors For The HF Music Program
Our peers in the Harborfields High School Music Program have earned recognition for their musical talents and top scores. Thirteen students were chosen for the New York State Council of Administrators of Music Education (NYSCAME) All-County ensembles! These extraordinary upperclassmen were selected out of many Suffolk County musicians. They show some of the best musical talent in Suffolk County. All of these students have worked very hard and have shown immense talent in their respective musical subjects. Celia Ancona and Jackson Dunahm were honored for Cello. Marty Bernstein and Andrew Walden were honored for Trombone. Mark Carillion was honored for Voice/Bass I. Kyleigh Connors, Hartley Semmes, and Peter Rocco were honored for Trumpet. Shea Flynn was honored for Double Bass. Amelia Freiberger was honored form Voice/Soprano I. Lastly, Andi Holohan was honored for Voice/Alto I, Justin Lowenhar for Voice/Tenor II, and Alanna Siegel honored for Flute. Congratulations to these students, friends, and allies for their musical talent and extreme dedication. The honored students are a wonderful example of what our amazing HF Music Programs have to offer.
In addition, congrats to three students who have recently earned the highest recognition for music in New York, the NYSSMA All-State Designation. The recognized musicians are Alanna Siegel, Amelia Freiberger, and Hartley Semmes who join together with other highschool scholar musicians from other schools and will rehearse and soon be performing in December at the NYSSMA Winter Conference in Rochester.
Congratulations to all the musicians in our music program that received these prestigious honors!
