Harborfields Semi-Quincentennial Celebration Page

Start your passport book journey here with informational videos created by students in each of the four schools in the Harborfields Central School District. Each day starting on April 20, 2026 we will publish a video featuring one of the passbook locations in the greater Huntington area.

Visit those locations and get your passbook stamped along the way. Students who visit all fifteen (15) designated sites in the Town of Huntington and collect the required stamps will receive a special proclamation from the Town and be recognized at a Harborfields Board of Education meeting.

This whole project was conceived and developed under the leadership of Dr. Danielle DeLorenzo, Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum & Instruction, along with the Semi-Quincentennial Steering Committee:

Passport Book Journey — Project Intro Video

Video Production

Individual video clips were recorded by the media clubs in their TV studios in each of the four schools in the Harborfields Central School District.

Those video clips were then shared with the media students of Harborfields High School’s CTE-Media Pathway: The Harborfields Multimedia Production Academy.

Sophomore producer, Benjamin Guddemi, designed the graphics package and built an Adobe Premiere Pro template project based off of his Episode One: Whaling Museum video. The rest of the news team took it from there producing these 15 videos within two weeks!
