HF Football Senior Game

It’s been a rough season for the Harborfields Tornadoes football team. They have a current record of 1 win and 6 losses. They have a very tough schedule with 6 of the 8 teams currently in the playoffs. 

The Tornadoes also have suffered major losses throughout the year from key players. Now with one game left the Tornadoes have a chance to shock the island and beat the number three seed East Islip. EI has a current record of five wins and two losses. 

The Tornadoes will be back to almost full strength with most of their key players back from injury. Danny Alnwick, Augie Kollmer, and Brendan Polay will all be playing after dealing with injuries throughout the season. Marc Leone is questionable for return as he is dealing with a shoulder injury. With most of the key players back in the lineup this could give the Tornadoes a little more confidence as they go up against East Islip. 

This is also the senior game so the seniors on the team will have a little more motivation to get this “W” and leave a better legacy when they graduate.  Rey Soto stated, “It is our last game of the year. We hope we can end on a positive note and finish strong.” Come out to the last home game of the year and support the seniors on their senior day at 2:00.
