Spiking the Competition
Volleyball is a total game changer. It's not just a sport, it's a community where you'll make lifelong friends, unleash competitive spirit, and have tons of fun.
First and foremost if you don't know the basics of volleyball we will give you a quick some up. In volleyball you play on a court divided by a net. The objective is to keep the ball off the ground and send it over the net to the other team's side. you and your teammates try to keep a ball from hitting the ground on your side of the net. You can use your hands to set or spike it or your forearms/arms to bump it;bump, set, spike. The goal is to send the ball over the net to the other team and make it really hard for them to return it. You score points when the ball lands on the other team's side or if they make a mistake. The team that reaches 25 points wins the set. You have to win by 2 points though so if the other team has 24 and your team has 25 you can't win because you would have to have 26; It always has to be 2 points apart. There are obviously a lot of rules but those are just the basics. It's all about working together and staying focused and having a blast.
Volleyball is a sport that brings people together, when you join a volleyball team you become part of a close-knit community. You'll meet new people who share the same passion as you and create incredible memories on and off the court.
