In school vs Online learning
The school year has just begun and many students are starting to get used to the new Covid-19 rules that have been established. Online learning has become the new normal for the education system but many students have mixed opinions about distance and in school learning.
I conducted an interview with some of the other students at Harborfields to find out which form of learning they personally prefer. 11th grader Logan Flanagan said he prefers online learning because it is easier for him to pay attention and do his school work in a home environment.
“Online learning is easier because I just have to wake up and turn my computer on,” said Flanagan on the advantages to distance learning. The next person I interviewed was 11th grader Dylan Wolf who said he prefers being in school opposed to being online, “Online is easier in some aspects but it's still nice to be able to go to school and see my friends.”
After conducting a text survey on whether or not students feel they learn more in school or online, many said they find it easier to learn online because it's not as stressful compared to the in school environment.
