The New Hallways

The new ways of walking in the hallways this year are very different from years past due to the ongoing Coronavirus Pandemic. This year the hallways are split into two halves with arrows pointing in the direction to go.

The hallways are not as packed as they would usually be due to the fact that only half the students come in each day. There are also now doors for entering and exiting the cafeteria and gym instead of going in wherever you want.

The flow of the hallway seems to be the same but it is a good way to keep people safe during the pandemic especially for the freshman coming in that may not know which side to walk on or get confused when they are trying to find their new classes. I spoke to Johnny Pastorelli about the matter and in his opinion, he said, “They should keep the courtyard doors open year round so there are more places to walk and you can get a break from the masks and a little fresh air while you are walking to your next class”.

These are some big changes in the school and I hope everyone can adapt to them soon.
