Are Needohs Here to Stay?

You’ve all heard of the squishies called Needohs right? You probably have seen other kids carrying them around the school. You’re probably wondering why did they suddenly get so popular? Well I’m going to answer that today and if they’re here to stick around or if they’re just a passing trend like labubus and fidget spinners.

Needohs have been around for over 20 years and haven’t been this popular online or in this school,so what’s the reason? One reason could be the rise of fidget toys and people fidgeting a lot more like clicking your pen or tapping your foot when you’re bored in class. Some people on social media like TikTok and instagram cynically believe that it’s just a trend that’s going to die out in a month and people are gonna move on to the next big thing while these needohs end up in a landfill somewhere. On the other hand some believe that it helps with stress, anxiety and adhd. 

From what I’ve found it’s very clear that there was no real reason for the spike in popularity other than viral social media posts and trends randomly popularizing it. Sorry that it wasn’t something more climactic or crazy. But from what it seems like, these are here to stay for a while, at least a few months. Maybe they’ll last longer than pop-its did.
