The White House Battles Coronavirus

By now you may have heard of the President of the United States testing positive for Coronavirus on October 2nd of 2020 along with his wife Melania Trump. As the count of COVID-19 deaths rose to 207,000 deaths and devastated the economy.

He was sent to Walter Reed Medical Center and was recently discharged on October 6th 2020. He is the only president in the United States that has been known to confront a life-threatening condition while in office. 

The day before the President got tested for COVID-19 people at the White House, “Noticed that [Trump’s] voice sounded raspy on Thursday, although it was not clear that was abnormal for him, especially given the number of campaign rallies he has been holding lately.” He has also been communicating with a lot of people already exposed to the virus without wearing a mask himself, which is dangerous.

 Now, Trump is recovering and doing okay but, if he starts to show more symptoms it may take him weeks to recover, for more information check out this article from the NY Times, nytimes.com.

  More than 14 people in the White House have tested positive for the Coronavirus and 24  people have tested negative for the Coronavirus. Former governor of New Jersey, Chris Christie, and former counselor to the President, Kellyanne Conway, have both tested positive for Coronavirus. While Barron Trump and Ivanka Trump have tested negative for the virus. That’s only some of the most popular White House officials. Even as COVID-19 rages on in the White House it is important to stay healthy. Make sure you wash your hands for twenty seconds after using the bathroom While also wearing a mask whenever you are in a crowded public place, in order for us to be able to have a normal way of life in the near future!
