Ambush On Deputies… And The American People And why Students Must Think For Themselves

In Compton, California, an unidentified man stalked two police officers sitting in their vehicle. As he gathered his confidence, he marched up to the open window on the passenger side of the car, and opened fire at the two deputies’ heads. A 31 year-old mother and her 24 year old partner were hit multiple times above the shoulders. 

As the shooter ran away, the two deputies staggered out of the car to find safety. Heroically, the female deputy was able to make a fumbled radio call for help as she was bleeding out. At the same time she helped her partner secure a turnakit to slow his bleeding from the forehead.

Many authoritarian figures made statements on the incident. Sheriff Alex Villanueva said “There is no rhyme or reason to it; it is an act of a coward.” Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti said it is an “absolute miracle” that they are both expected to make full recoveries, after making it through surgery well. President Trump said that there should be “a quick trial” and added that the death penalty should be considered if the officers die.

Democratic President Elect Joe Biden said that “This cold-blooded shooting is unconscionable and the perpetrator must be brought to justice.”

Those are the facts of the case, however reading that does not give you the whole story. As horrible as this senseless act of violence was, the reactions of it goes way further than just these facts. Most of this will not be conveyed through mainstream media due to mass media monopolies such as Google, who owns Twitter among many other news outlets seen by millions. These outlets are too concerned about pushing their own political agenda to keep their viewers on a certain side. What these outlets don’t show is the other side of the people and their reactions.

In a video posted by a bystander of the shooting, it showed him and multiple others laughing and mocking the deputies stumbling out of their car and praising the man who shot them. Rather than helping the officers who had just been ambushed by a psychopath criminal

Later in the day, KPCC reporter Josie Huang was arrested by police outside of St. Francis Medical Center, where the two wounded deputies were brought for treatment. She was reporting the story of the ambush by the lunatic in the street, but furthermore, she was reporting the mob of people outside of the hospital.

These people were not in support of the wounded heroes whose lives were desperately attempting to be saved. They were protesting the police force as a whole. The mob of people were chanting phrases like, “We hope they die!”. They also made the effort to block the entrance and exit of the emergency room to attempt to prevent axcess to treat the two deputies. The arrest of Josie Huang was a charge of obstruction and improper credentials to report. She did however have proper credentials, and evidence shows that she was forcefully restrained by the arresting officer. Her arrest is seen as a decoy to the fact that she was reporting the real news, rather than just following along with the narrative of most news organizations. She spoke out and was trying to show the truth, so she must be eliminated. That’s how all people are treated now. Unless you follow along with the mainstream narrative, you are the villain to society and you must be prevented from speaking out for the truth.

This isn’t an isolated situation regarding this. In Ohio, a high school football team was suspended for flying pro-police American flags before the game. Many people have lost their jobs after speaking the truth of what’s happening in the country. NBA player Jonathan Isaac was the only player on the Orlando Magic that stood for the National Anthem. He then had to explain why he chose not to kneel. All of the sudden it’s seen as strange to stand after Americans have done it for decades? Just because he wasn’t following the narrative of the NBA and it’s many black players, which is that they are against the police, and act as though they are oppressed while playing a kids’ game for millions of dollars.

These are the elements of situations like these that aren’t widely discussed in the mainstream media. This directly corresponds to the so called “peaceful protests” that have been occurring for months now. News channels, mainly more liberal haven’t shown the true nature of these events. In fact, these “peaceful” protests are violent riots that have destroyed hundreds of buildings, houses, cars and businesses. It has caused millions of dollars in damage and has caused the death of countless people. Regardless of what you are speaking out against, violently rioting and looting American cities is never appropriate and should not be tolerated.

Each political party has their own agenda of how they plan on uprighting the country. The Democrats are in favor of the radical group of rioters, and they plan on defunding the police, reversing our second amendment right, and further discrediting the Republican party for these problems. The Republicans’ plan is to  further strengthen the police force, which will force law and order, which has been lost now. According to facts, in cities in which police have been defunded, violent crime has increased tremendously.

In conclusion, students have two choices. The first one is to listen to the mainstream media and believe what they are told to believe, but the second choice that can be made is to do your own educated research, and form your own opinions based on facts. America in 2020 has become so drowned in politics that it makes it hard to break through and speak out for what you truly believe. You must not be afraid to speak out for what is right, even if it seems that you are alone in your opinion. You are not alone, and until more people become bold enough to speak out, the false narrative of 2020 America will be continued and it will not stop until we do something about it. Let’s not be a part of the future generation that doesn’t think for themselves.
