Kevin’s Rad Picks: Divisional Round

Oh boy, what a wildcard weekend. I went 1-3, and if you ask me, that’s not bad considering the circumstances. Who knew Andy Reid would continue his legendary choking career and let another playoff game get away from him?

Who knew the Falcons were good again? Who knew there would only be one touchdown scored in the Jags-Bills game? Only the football Gods can predict that, and I know I’m not a football God, I’m just a living legend. Either way, the next round is here, and I got some picks.

Atlanta @ Philadelphia: Atlanta (-2.5)

I’m surprised this spread is that close. Atlanta is good again and they're looking a lot like they did last year up to the third quarter of the Super Bowl. Without Wentz, Philly is in big trouble, but we knew that already. Nick Foles is a shell of his former self and Philly’s defense has been abysmal lately. This is an easy pick, Atlanta all the way.

Tennessee @ New England: New England (-13.5)

If New England was -30, I’d still pick New England. Tennessee has no chance to win this game, let alone, the spread. If Pittsburgh loses this week, just give the Pats the Vince Lombardi Trophy.

Jacksonville @ Pittsburgh: Jacksonville (+7)

I think Pittsburgh is going to win, but I don't think they can cover the spread. Jacksonville's defense might prove to be too much for Big Ben after he threw 5 interceptions the last time these two teams met. If Blake Bortles turns it on and the defense continues to be dominant, this could be the best divisional round game.

New Orleans @ Minnesota: Minnesota ( -5)

I’ve said it all year, the Saints are good, but Minnesota is better. I'm running out of time so I’ll keep it short, Minnesota is the better team and they are going to get a home Super Bowl.

So, those are my picks for what set to be another great weekend for football. Hopefully, I can bring up my record to 5-3, but I can only hope.

My record: 1-3-0
