Shows to Watch on Netflix!

Have you had free time lately? Are you looking for anything to pass the time? Well, I’ve got you covered! Here is a list comprised of some of my favorite finds on Netflix right now!

To start with some comedy, this wouldn’t be a Netflix list without the mention of the famous shows: Friends, The Office, Parks and Rec, and The Good Place. Better watch up though, these several season shows will be taken off Netflix in the upcoming year, so watch them while you can! These shows are classics that will make you roll laughing while still supporting a meaningful plot that will warm your heart.

 If you’re looking for any comedy specials though, John Mulaney’s are always a good place to start. He has three amazing Netflix specials called: New in Town, Comeback Kid, and Kid Gorgeous. Junior Sophia DiPrima says, “I first watched John Mulaney’s specials back in the 9th grade and I haven’t stopped, they are so funny!” They are truly some of my favorite things to continually re-watch on Netflix, and I’m constantly quoting them!

Next, Netflix is becoming known for its really good (and some not so good) Netflix Originals. Some of my favorite Netflix Originals are Stranger Things, Anne With An E, The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, The Society, Carmen Sandiego, The Politician and more! Junior Madelynn Murray says, “I’ve been really loving Netflix originals lately, I was even a character from Netflix’s The Politician for Halloween this year!”

If you’re just looking for a movie, Netflix has some great original movies that are sure to entertain. I don’t know how Netflix is continually able to get away with making cheesy rom-coms, but hey whatever works! Movies like The Kissing Booth, To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before, and Tall Girl has become super popular. If you’re looking for a more serious sort of rom-com Netflix has a-m-a-z-i-n-g movies like Always be my Maybe, When We First Met, Set it Up, and much much MUCH more! Junior Emma Rose says, “Personally I’m not the biggest fan of The Kissing Booth or those ones but Rom-Coms are super cute and fun to watch when you’re bored!”
