Disney+ Hacked?

Disney+, the new streaming service that has taken the world by storm, has recently been having technical difficulties that have affected numerous users. Unfortunately, this has led hackers to steal accounts and sell them for profit.

According to sources, some users have become unable to log into their Disney+ accounts, and many are worried that their accounts have been “compromised” because of this. Multiple investigations have found out that hackers have been taking thousands of user accounts and selling them on the dark web for money. Users have waited for hours on helplines and online chats, yet it seems the problem has still not been fixed.

A spokesman for the Walt Disney Company stated that “Disney takes the privacy and security of [their] users’ data very seriously and there is no indication of a security breach on Disney+”, meaning that Disney+ itself has not been hacked, but the individual Disney+ accounts instead. Sources suggest it may be the person’s spyware that they use for their accounts, or that their login details have been stolen.

However, this doesn’t mean that you should worry about losing your Disney+ account. To make your account safer against attackers online, you should change your password. Don’t make it an easy password; try to make it something that only you can know and that others can’t figure out easily. If you use multiple accounts, try creating separate passwords for them. You can also try using two-factor authentications to make your accounts much more secure, as well.

With these tips, you can keep experiencing the magic of Disney+ and keep binge-watching shows like High School Musical: The Musical: The Series and The Mandalorian, all without having to worry about losing your personal data.
