Game One HF Football Against Number One Seed Westhampton -- Are We Ready?

With week one rapidly approaching, the Harborfields football program has the number one seed West Hampton Beach HS. To prepare for this elite team, HF football set up a scrimmage against Huntington High School at home.

Harborfields Football had a solid run and pass game, but the lack of hitting in practice was one of the team’s most prominent causes in their downfall to Huntington.

Huntington had a higher energy and seemed more prepared to hit. Huntington's D-Line was playing phenomenally against Harborfields. Missed and broken tackles led to more touchdowns on Huntington's side of the ball. Huntington had a very impactful run game which led to most of their touchdowns.

Senior Rey Soto asserted that the team needs to “do the little things and pick up the energy and morale” to have a great game against West Hampton Beach HS.

Harborfields will have to pick up the energy and technique if they want to win against an elite program such as WestHampton.
