The Cats Movie Is Kind Of Concerning…

One of the best parts of seeing a movie is getting to the theater a little early and viewing all of the new and upcoming movie trailers. But, It is quite the awful surprise to see fully grown men and women prancing around the screen in cat suits for the new “Cats” movie. Where is the humanity?

It all started in December of 1981 when Andrew Lloyd Weber’s Broadway play, Cats became an international phenomenon, attracting people from all around the world.  People traveled far and wide to see actors dressed as cats frolicking around a stage. After “Cats” left Broadway, it had an extremely short resurgence when it came back to Broadway in 2016 and flopped dramatically. 

Just when I thought people finally came to their senses, word of a Cats Movie had spread. I was, and still am completely concerned for the future of the film industry.

Don’t get me wrong, the cast is amazing. It includes some of our favorite actors such as James Cordon, Rebel Wilson, Taylor Swift, Jason Derulo, and much more. And maybe this movie will be the biggest movie success the world has ever seen. Who knows what will happen? Only time will tell...
