LiAngelo Ball Thanks Trump For His Release

Last week, after the news hit media outlets of three UCLA players arrested for shoplifting in China, President Trump clearly got to work.

One of these players include the famous son of Lavar Ball, LiAngelo Ball. The other two are Jalen Hill and Cody Riley. The boys allegedly stole designer sunglasses from a Louis Vuitton store during their down time.

After being publicly thanked by all three players, Trump tweeted,  “To the three UCLA basketball players I say: You’re welcome, go out and give a big Thank You to President Xi Jinping of China who made your release possible and, HAVE A GREAT LIFE! Be careful, there are many pitfalls on the long and winding road of life!”

This comes as a disappointment to all UCLA and Ball fans, as LiAngelo has risked all his chances of playing for the league, as well as fulfilling his father's goal of all 3 of his sons reaching professional ball.

According to Donald Trump’s tweet, “They were headed for 10 years in jail!” Senior Nikolai Mazut said, “It’s a great thing that he got them out of there. It just sucks because their careers may just be over because of this scandal.”
