President Trump declared the Covid Relief bill a “disgrace”. Congress has been working to deliver the $900 billion in Coronavirus relief to help aid Americans in this tough time and many, including the President, are outraged by spending plans.

The bill includes spending plans that fund government operations and the military, as well as foreign aid. Trump responded to this by saying, “It’s called the Covid relief bill, but it has almost nothing to do with Covid, Congress found plenty of money for foreign countries, lobbyists and special interests while sending the bare minimum to the American people.”

Trump also stated that he will ask Congress to increase the amount of money allotted to the people from $600 to $2,000. He called the amount given, “ridiculously low”. He added that he asked Congress to get rid of some of the unnecessary spending items.

Nancy Pelosi, speaker from California agreed with the President, she took to Twitter to say, “At last, the President has agreed to $2,000 — Democrats are ready to bring this to the Floor this week by unanimous consent. Let’s do it!”

He concluded his video addressing the bill by saying, “Send me a suitable bill or else the next administration will have to deliver a Covid relief package, and maybe that administration will be me, we will get it done,” insisting that the next White House administration will be him, despite his defeat confirmed by the Electoral College against Joe Biden.
