Attack on Titan Episode 73 Delayed

Each Sunday, Attack on Titan fans anxiously wait for the next episode. However, during the broadcast of episode 73, there was a 4.7 magnitude earthquake in Wakayama Shi, Japan, halting the premiere of the most recent episode. Due to the earthquake, all TVs in Japan switched to emergency broadcast, cutting off the episode 17 minutes in, leaving it incomplete and unavailable to be streamed legally on any platforms. The studio released a statement explaining the situation and has scheduled episode 73 to air next Sunday at Attack on Titan’s usual time, however, the following episode will premiere directly after as to stay on schedule. Junior Anna Perz says, “From the look of the promo I knew this episode was going to be crazy, and honestly, some of the fun of watching Attack on Titan is the suspense of ‘what’s going to happen next.’ I don’t mind having to wait an extra week, I just hope that everyone in Japan was okay!” Some fans were upset about the delay, but the safety of citizens is far more important than a show and I hope everyone in Japan is doing alright following the events on Sunday.
