What we can expect for Stranger Things Season 4

*Major Spoiler Warning please DO NOT read if you haven’t watched Stranger Things yet and/or if you’re planning to and/or if you dislike spoilers in general* Stranger Things is a TV Show about a boy named William Byers who goes missing in the Upside Down and his friends Mike, Dustin, Lucas meet a girl named Eleven who has telekinetic abilities and they later meet another girl named Max at the beginning of Season 2 and they uncover the mysteries of the Upside Down while fighting Russian Scientists and parasitic alien-like creatures called ‘Demogorgons’.

At the very end of Season 3 as the Russian Scientists attempt to open the gate to the Upside Down (Eleven closed the Upside Down gate at the very end of Season 2) Hopper one of the main characters in the series as he attempts to shut down the machine that’s opening the gate, disintegrates in a white beam of light ….or at least that’s what we as the audience THINK is happening but we’re wrong.

There’s a post credit scene where the two Russian Scientists are walking in the hallway full of doors and one of them attempts to open a door right next to him but the other guy says in Russian “No no not the American…” We can assume that the Russian guy might indeed be talking about Hopper because a few months later a teaser dropped for Season 4 saying “We’re not in Hawkins anymore…” and more months past and a teaser came out and it takes place in a Labor Camp somewhere in Kamchatka, Russia and the camera pans slowly towards a man with a shaved head and the man turns around and it ends up being Hopper all along.

Season 4 was originally going to air somewhere in early 2020 but obviously because of COVID-19 it got delayed until mid to late 2021 and started filming in September 2020. However based on some research that I found, I believe it has already been confirmed that there will be nine or so episodes if a recall correctly. One of the episodes is titled “The HellFire Club”. Will that be the name of the group that our main characters decided on? Or is it a bunch of completely new characters? Basically my prediction of Season 4 will be that Mike and his friends will find out why and how Eleven lost her powers, by going to Russia and then they find Hopper and the group finds out that Hopper was working for the Russians the entire time and the Group of course tries to stop him but they’re too late and Hopper fuses with the Demogorgon to completely take over his mind and then Hopper dies.
