Black Widow has been Pushed Back... Again
For the first time in 10 years, Marvel will not be releasing a movie this year. It’s something I have taken for granted over the years and now I’m depressed. Black Widow, which was supposed to be released on May 1st of this year was originally delayed to November 1st because of the Pandemic. However, with the way the Pandemic has been going in the US, Marvel has once again pushed back the Black Widow release to May 7th of 2021.
I’m trying to look on the bright side and hope that with Black Widow pushed back maybe we can get an actual press tour. Despite the delay, I’m also happy that Black Widow is getting a theatrical release like it deserves. While I do wish I could watch the movie right now, Natasha Romanaff deserves to be viewed on a 30 feet tall screen. I’m happy it wasn’t just released on Disney+ like the Live-Action Mulan was.
Senior, Sophia DiPrima says, “I’ve been excited for this movie since it was announced at San Diego Comic Con back in 2019 and while it hurts that I’m going to have to wait even longer for it, I’m excited to experience it actually at the movie theaters.”
