"Anne With an E" Review

In 2017, the series “Anne With an E”, a take on the classic book Anne of Green Gables made its debut. This is a heartwarming and inspiring tale of a young orphan, Anne (portrayed by Amybeth McNulty) who is longing to find her place in the world. After many years of abuse and rejection in her search for a family, she is mistakenly adopted by two aging siblings, Matthew and Marilla Cuthbert who live on Green Gables, a family owned farm on Prince Edward Island. Through her days at school, adventures, and her way with words, Anne has proven to be a unique and passionate spirit that changes the lives of not only her new family and friends, but everyone in the small town of Avonlea.  I rate this show extremely highly, and would recommend it to anyone seeking adventure, inspiration, and a true tale of believing in the good of others. Two seasons are currently available on Netflix, and a third and final season will be released on January third.
