Join the Club!

As the last bell rings across the high school and students quickly leave the building, there are some students who participate in basically another period of classes- clubs. In high school, there are over 40 clubs where people from all backgrounds, grades, and interests can go into.

There are some very popular clubs and groups in the school. An example of one is Robotics.  It is their fifth year participating in competitions and in summary, the group produces and codes robots to be used in competitions.

The Yearbook Club creates the yearbook, Harborlight, for the students to acquire. Spanish, Italian, and French Clubs celebrate and take a look at the culture of each respective country and maybe go on a couple field trips in between.

There are also clubs that try to give back to the community. Habitat for Humanity is a club that tries to help the less fortunate individuals of the local community by building houses and participating in local soup kitchens. HACO, another club determined to end hunger, meets every month.

The great things about all of these clubs is that the majority of them are supervised by Harborfields High School staff. This is beneficial because you could make a connection with these teachers inside and outside the club. Many kids around the school enjoy these clubs and if you join them, you most likely will too!

If you are curious about any of the 40+ clubs at the High School, you can ask any of your guidance counselors at the guidance office,  or click here for the full club catalog for this school year.
