Going in to the High School is a really big transition for any student, and it can seem daunting to start at a new school. Everybody has first day nerves regardless of what grade they are in. It is a new adventure for the freshman and they have 4 years of knowledge, growth, and challenges ahead of them. With these few tips, you will have a marvelous start to a new chapter of your life.
As the juniors are starting their college visits and testing, the seniors are preparing to start new adventures and challenges for the next 4 years of their lives. With the daunting deadline of May 1st, it is important to prepare for college and the adjustments that you will face in your freshman year of college.
As midterm week approaches at Harborfields High School, stress and tension within students and teachers are raised. Many students, have various midterms scheduled on several days, whether it be in class or scheduled for the gymnasium.
Many people do not treat anxiety as something that people can suffer from. Since people cannot see it, often times they do not believe it is there. To state it simply, the website Bustle explains it as, “...an anxiety disorder isn’t a personality trait — it’s a medical condition”. Mental illnesses like anxiety, depression, etcetera, are overlooked and set to blame for the habits of our generation. If adults paid attention to the teenage perspective of anxiety, a better understanding of the situation could hopefully arise.
As of now the pill is only available to individuals who have been diagnosed with a disorder that causes a lack of focus. It is supposed to make people who have attention problems “level off” normally; therefore, someone who has no attention problems would have heightened abilities while on the pill, as chanted by slate.com

The student still hovers around the 85 line, but this time she earns a 1480/1600 on the SAT compared to the 1020 she had before. This student would have a completely different life.
It takes an eternity to fall asleep, and eventually you wake up in the morning feeling drowsy and tired. In school you’re unable to focus and try hard not to fall asleep in class. Once school is over the cycle repeats. If this relates to you, then you’re one of the 85% of teens worldwide that share the same problem.
