Spirit Week Preview

Homecoming is Saturday, September 29th, when the HF Tornadoes will face off against ESM at 1 pm. In order to get ready for the big game, the school will be holding its annual spirit week.

Monday is the hardest day of the week to get up for school, but it will be that much easier on the 24th where you won’t even have to get dressed on Pajama Day. You can just roll out of bed and get on the bus, while being comfy all day at school.

With the cool weather arriving soon, get one last glimpse of summer for Tropical Tuesday. Wear your favorite Hawaiian shirt or shorts with lei. Sophomore John Vallen is hyped for Tropical Tuesday, “I will 100% be wearing my Hawaiian shirt on Tuesday.”

Get ready to wave your flags and display your patriotism for America Day on Wednesday. Wear the American colors of red, white and blue, and any other things you have that show off our country.

Grab those class shirts to get ready for Thursday, Class Shirt Day. Each grade was assigned a time period to base their float and shirt off of, the freshman are representing Prehistoric times, the sophomores are representing Medieval times, the juniors are representing the Wild West, and finally the seniors are representing the 60s.

Show your HF pride on Friday for Green and White Day. Also, Friday night is Pep Rally so get your friends together and come hang out for the bonfire afterwards as well.

Hopefully many of you will participate and show your school spirit next week.
