Many teachers often flood our after school lives with an abundance of homework that is intolerable. After school often times people want to relax from their hard days but later find that impossible when they open up their agendas from that past school day.
In the wide world of entertainment, a category much overlooked is the instrumental music category. Many teenagers seem to brush past this type of music because of the connection to classical music created by famous composers like Mozart or Bach, who tend to have a negative connotation to modern teens.
It is so important to take electives seriously throughout high school and try as many as you can. Electives help you widen your horizons and become more aware of jobs that you can pursue in the future. These classes reveal the skill sets of certain students that might not be obvious in their other classes, helping them see their strengths and providing them with opportunities to be of value to their other classmates.
What if I told you you could learn life skills, problem solving, and perseverance in a unconventional and exciting way? Outward Bound School is a non-profit organization that teaches students these skills through exhibitions that range from 9 to 50 days long. After finishing his 9 day exhibition, Isaac Huntington said “I’m already ready to go back!”

As the school year is beginning, there is a lot of stress for incoming freshman and in reality all of us. There are so many things to do in high school that you can never get bored. You always have to try new things and communicate with your peers and teachers. As a freshman it is extremely important to make new friends and make relationships with your teachers.
