President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris officially received their positions in office, and the Democratic party officially took control of the senate when the final new members, Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock were sworn in. The day was filled with inspiration and represents a new era for America.

Warned of Violence Before Siege; More Arrests Made it says, “...after reports that FBI officials in Virginia had [been] warned about a threat of violence the day before the riots, the head of the FBI’s Washington field office, Steven D’Antuono “indicated that the information had quickly been shared with other law enforcement agencies.”

Senior, Maya Salzman stated that, “Efforts to vaccinate citizens are even slower than the federal government predicted.” Many citizens are scared that when their time comes around to receive the vaccine, the supply will runout.
