Many people feel that the amount of positive COVID tests will increase due to activities on Halloween; activities such as trick-or-treating. I interviewed a Harborfields mom and asked her how she feels about Halloween this year.

As each September rolls around, it becomes college application season again. With each year, it seems like more and more pressure is put on students. With loads of schoolwork on top of college apps.

Effects of COVID on HF
I know that if you told anyone last September what life would be like now, they would laugh at you. It’s nearly impossible to even think that so much could happen so quickly. In a blink of an eye, March 13th turned into May, and as flowers bloomed we rapidly approached the sweltering heat of August, then short after September. In just an instant, all of our lives changed forever. Still, six months later, things are not back to normal.

Classrooms During a Pandemic
Here at Harborfields High School the rules that we have to follow inside of the classrooms are not too bad, but for the incoming freshman, it can be harder for them to get used to. As for the seniors, it limits time with their friends and teachers that they will soon be leaving.
Students Want to Make a Change
f only everyone could fight to want to go to school everyday. Maybe then we could all work out a better system. Maverick Stow is a high school senior at William Floyd High School. He vowed to himself this year that he would go to school every day of the week until a change was made in the school system.

Mask Etiquette
How to wear your mask? If your mask isn’t covering your nose, you’re wearing your mask wrong. It might be more comfortable, but the point of wearing a mask is to prevent you from getting Covid or spreading Covid so, leaving your nose uncovered is defeating the purpose of wearing a mask.
